Omar Nabor Guajardo

We are heartbroken to announce the unexpected death of Omar "Mo" Nabor Guajardo at his home on January 18, 2023 at the age of 19 . A visitation will be 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy 277 South. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Wednesday, January 25, 2023 in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Tye Cemetery.

Mo was born August 21, 2003 in Abilene, Texas to Christie Castillo and Nabor Guajardo Jr. He wanted to be a UFC fighter. Mo enjoyed dancing, fishing, freestyling, cooking, flea markets, playing guitar, video games, and hanging out with his friends. He was loved by many for his willingness to help others and his kind heart. Mo had the ability to make anyone smile. He will forever be a special person to everyone, he touched many lives. We love you always Mo. You will forever be with Us.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Nabor Guajardo Sr. and his sister, Aubrey Mendez.

Mo is survived by his parents, two siblings, Jacob Mendez and wife Mekel, and Justice Moncibiaz; three nephews; his grandparents, Joe and Elva Castillo, and Lily Guajardo; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
